SUMMER CAMP TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

Transportation to the Coed Leadership Camp at Hardin-Simmons  (June 7-11) will be FREE! The Valley Transit bus will leave the Burger King parking lot at El Centro Mall in Pharr, Monday, June 7, at 5:00 am SHARP! The bus will return approx 7:00 pm on Friday, June 11 to the same location.

Transportation to the Coed Sports Camp at Texas A&M  (June 28-July 2) will also be FREE! The vans will leave from the same location at the El Centro Mall in Pharr on Monday, June 28, at 6:00 am SHARP! They will return approx 6:00 pm on Friday, July 2nd.

There are 54 seats on the bus and will fill up quickly, so register very soon to reserve your seat. Call the RGV-FCA office for question or more information. (956) 994-1121

SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION!

Here is the breakdown for camp scholarships.

Student/Athletes: The RGV-FCA will offer a $25 scholarship to all student/athletes from the RGV who attend a TEXAS FCA Camp! Either the Leadership Camp in Abilene, the Golf Camp in Abilene or the Sports Camp in College Station. All registration forms must come through the RGV-FCA office to obtain the scholarship! This offer is to JH/MS, HS and College student/athletes.

Any Huddle Coach who wants to attend a TEXAS Camp will receive the balance of their fee (after they pay $100 registration fee per adult) as a scholarship. Example: If they are attending the Leadership Camp in Abilene the fee is $285. The RGV-FCA will pay $185, the camper pays the $100 reg. fee. If it is a couple, they pay $200, the RGV-FCA will pay $370.

Any Huddle Coach, Athletic Coach, or other adult such as a Leadership Board member will receive the balance of their fee (individual or couple) as a scholarship after their registration fee has been received..($100 for ind. or $200 per couple). The Coaches Enrichment Weekend is at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Marble Falls, TX. Fees are $350/$700. This offer is to any Athletic Coach and spouse whether they are involved with FCA or not. This will be a great opportunity to relax, play golf, go antique hunting, meet fellow coaches from across Texas and grow in you faith, marriage and as a coach.

Deadlines for the camp registrations into the RGV-FCA office are :
    Abilene Leadership & Golf Camp: May 25
   A&M Sports Camp: June 21
   Coaches Camp: July 2
